Good Morning Linda

It is nice to hear from you again, JD has become a very treasured member of our family in the few short months that he has been with us. His innate ability to know when someone needs a comforting snuggle or when they want to play is uncanny.

As of his last vet appointment he weighed in at 41 pounds, although I figure most of it must be hair since he is quite a fur ball. He is scheduled for his first full hair cut next week so I am interested to see what he is like underneath.

JD also placed first in his class for obedience training. In all the dogs I have owned in the past he is by far the easiest to train and very intuitive to the situation. I have told a number of people about your breeding program and the focus on therapy dogs as he generates so much discussion whenever someone new meets with him.

I hope all went well with your last litter and that your dogs are healthy and strong.

Hi Linda!

I have been thinking of you and how they are growing already ... I was going to try to send you some pics on the weekend, as life if busy during the weekdays.

They are doing AWESOME!!!  Such good little babies .... we just love them so much!

They are starting to respond to their names and are learning how to go pee and poo on command ... we say those words every time they are peeing or pooping and they are so cute how they stare at us while they go and are listening to the words.  We have a bell on the door and are trying to teach them to ring it when they need to go outside.

So far, they come running when we ring the bell (Finnegan likes to hide under my bed when he is tired) and he comes running out when we call his name or ring the bell.  So cute ..!

Casey comes a lot when we call her name or ring the bell, too ... but when outside they only come when they are tired or want treats!

The love the outside and love having each other ... they are working out their heirarchy a lot these days and Finnegan is getting good at putting Casey in her place when she bugs him too much ... she is a rascal and just wants to play with him all the time.

They are so cuddly with us, too ... such little sucks and they love to be babied and carried ... soon they will be too big to carry.

The vet said to keep them away from public places until they are older so they don't get parvo so we do not go too many places out of home yet ... but puppy classes start soon, so they should enjoy those!

Went to my mom's this weekend (1 hour away) and Finnegan did great in the car (we take them out in the car frequently) but poor Casey was so upset she drooled and vomitted ... poor baby!!

They are learning all the house rules and are just so smart, Linda!  Thank you for such wonderful puppies ...!!

They go to their beds without any issue, as they get LOTS of treats every time they go to 'bed' so they are very happy babies.  We just say 'let's go to your bed' and they come running and walk right in.

They sleep until 6:30 am every morning when Casey wakes me up with a little bark ... waits ... barks ... until I get up and let them out.  Straight for pees, and play time and breakfast ... by the time we go to work/school they are tired out and happy to go to bed.

I have a dog walker who comes in twice a day and she is actually from the same dog training place we are booked for and where I took my last girl (McCann's ... if you have ever heard of them, the are FANTASTIC!!!).  So they are getting lots of care and are adjusting well to her, too!

Thanks for emailing and let your family know how well they are doing for us, please?

Picutres to come this weekend,

Sonia

Hi Linda,

Roxy is doing great. We meant to send you an email last week to tell you how great she was but just before I sat down to write it she pooed on the carpet and peed in the kitchen within half an hour - very uncharacteristic as she'd been great before and has been great after - but I held off briefly on my Roxy is Great email!!

Anyway... Roxy is settling in really nicely - she seems happy and is very good natured. She's great to have around. The boys love her. She travels really well in the car. And she's had lots of compliments from everyone from the vet to an instructor for kids with physical disabilities at a ski resort who all say she has a great temperament. I'll forward you a few pictures, she's growing fast!

Steve

Linda,

I must share a little story about how wonderful our pup, Morgan, is! Tops for a puppy! I fractured my arm very badly on a hike 10 days ago. Required surgery and a steel plate 4 days ago. Morgan has not left my side throughout the last 10 days. I have been in tremendous pain and not able to do much. Didn't matter to Morgan what else was going on in the household, he followed me like Velcro and lay calmly very close by day & night & nuzzled with affection when I was up to it. He's only 7.5 months, still a playful puppy! Amazing! He had to be coaxed outside for exercise or to the kitchen for dinner, and he loves playing outside and food! He'd live outside if it was his choice. Thanks Linda and family, for these wonderful, intuitive sweetheart dogs you are bringing into the world!

Susan.
